Last I heard at least 90,000 people have been evacuated and I can't even begin to imagine how many people have lost everything they own; this is devastating and I can't even imagine what they are going through right now or the unknown of what to do next.
I own a small graphic business and don't have a whole lot to give; but before I went to bed last night I just couldn't get it out of my mind; so I've decided I want to try and do something to help.
I have family that is directly affected by this tragedy and I think if everyone pulls together we can all help; even if its just a little bit.
My idea was for any jobs that are booked with me "d'Hotman Design" for the rest of this month, May 2016, I will donate 20% of my income from those jobs to help those in need in Fort McMurray.
Please share if you know of anyone needing graphic services; I can discuss what their needs are and give a quote for my services and a timeline depending on the volume of work that comes. They can have their graphic needs met; and in turn, know that some of that money is going to a good cause.
Please, if you are not already, feel free to follow one of my Facebook Pages; either my business or blog page to keep in contact or be updated on how the fundraiser is going.
If you need to contact me you can do so through my website:
I'm not sure if this will go anywhere, but I wanted to know that I've done my best to do something.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post; if you do not need any design services please consider donating to all of those families in need!
